  • How old does the drive need to be?
    21 or over to rent.
  • Do you have additional charges for multiple drivers?
    No.
  • What is your cancellation policy?
    Cancellations made outside of a 7-day prearrival period will not be charged.
  • Do you offer roadside assistance?
    We are always on call for any mechanical issues with our cars.
  • Where do I pick up the car?
    At Ahukini Flats (about 10 minute walk) from the airport.
  • Why is it necessary to have a car on Kaua'i?
    It would be difficult to see our beautiful island through public transportation; and most activities do not provide transportation, not having a car will be very limiting.
  • Do you deliver the vehicle?
    Delivery service may be available to other island locations, for an additional cost. Please request at booking.
  • Do I have to have my own car insurance?
    Yes, you must have full coverage auto insurance to rent our cars.
  • Can I return the gas tank empty?
    Cars are received with a full tank of gas and must be returned with a full tank of gas, to avoid additional fees.
  • What are some other benefits of renting with Kauai Rent A Car?

  • Do you charge extra for under age 25?
    No.
  • Do I have to pay ahead of time?
    No, we require a valid credit card to secure a reservation, but we do not bill you until the day of your arrival.
